When the kidneys can no longer filter waste and excess water, haemodialysis takes over. Blood is carried to the dialysis machine through a fistula (a vascular access created in the arm), filtered in a dialyser (an artificial filter), then returned to the body.
Each session lasts about 4 hours. Most patients come 3 times a week, as prescribed by the nephrologist. During the session, you are settled comfortably on a 3-position bed, under continuous monitoring by our nurses and a doctor present on site.
Concretely, here is what you receive at every visit — not as an option, not as an extra.
Sessions are contracted with CNAS and CASNOS — no out-of-pocket payment if you are affiliated. Our administrative team prepares your file with you.
